Manufactured by Silva, the Explore 4-RC LED Head Lamp is a powerful, fully waterproof headlamp with very generous burn time and an easy-to-use rechargeable battery pack. The standard Silva Explore 4 headlamp uses 3 x AAA batteries and can be found here. The Explore 4RC model has a built-in 700mAh Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery with a micro-USB charging port.

Explore 4RC is a waterproof headlamp, with a very generous burn time and multi attachment options. It has three led colours; a 400lm white one, a red one that preserves your night vision and an orange one that is optimal for map reading. You can even use it to light up your tent or boat, by placing it inside the included storage bag. With an improved super low mode (10 lumen) you can get an even longer burn time for close range work or reading.

The Explore series was created for adventures – on land as well as on water. They are 100% waterproof (IPX7) which means that they can be submerged in 1 meter of water for up to 30 minutes if you would be unlucky enough to drop it. They come with not only white light, but also red light to preserve night vision and orange light optimal for map reading. These headlamps are designed for mountaineering, kayaking, hiking or sailing and will be a great companion on all adventures.
